I work with patients in a hospital setting and wash my hands at least 15-20 times a day. My hands are often dry and chapped. I've tried everything: Eucerin, Vaseline, Cetaphyl, etc but nothing has come close to this cream. I got it as a gift from a coworker and haven't stopped using it since. It's rich (not watery like Cetaphyl or Eucerin) and absorbs quickly. Doesn't leave a sheen or film after use. The size is small and convenient; perfect for sticking in your pocketbook or lab coat. Others have commented on the diaper cream smell but I find it quite pleasant and mild. Overall, would recommend this hand cream highly. The only downside is the price. But it's so good it's worth it. I got it around Christmas; 1 month later I'd say it's still 1/3rd full.Side Note: I also ordered the 25% shea butter lotion in the 7oz jar figuring it would be very similar to the 20% in the 1oz tubes. I have a terrible problem with dry, cracked knuckles in the wintertime. This cream gave my hands a "silky" feel without being greasy. (I'm a secretary, and I don't want to leave oily marks on papers.) In addition, this hand cream has a nice smell that isn't too strong. I keep my L'Occitane tube at work and a few co-workers tried it after curiosity had the best of them; they all liked it as well! I am definitely going to stick with this product for a while. |
